Hello and welcome to my website, I hope you are enjoying my portfolio of photographs. Good photography is all about catching 'the moment'. In order to give you the confidence that I will capture all those moments that will be so important to you, I find that it can be helpful for you to get to know me better, including how I got started in photography in the first place, so here goes...

I have been extremely passionate about photography from a very young age. My grandmother gave me her old 'point-and-shoot' camera for my 13th birthday and I immediately started to make my brothers and friends dress up and pose for me!

I continued to photograph my friends throughout High School (imagining myself as a bit of a fashion photographer!) having upgraded my 'point-and-shoot' along the way.

In my final year of High School, I discovered the wonders of Black & White photography, an SLR camera and the magic of developing your own prints.

Most of my final high school year was dedicated to my photography class, with the majority of my weekends being spent photographing in and around a variety of weird and wonderful locations, be it photographing down alleyways; against rustic walls or against a backdrop of character-rich buildings.

All my hard work and dedication did not go without reward, as I achieved the second highest grade in the Country for my school photography portfolio (a very proud moment).

On leaving school, I started studying professional photography at degree level, covering every aspect of photography from weddings to still life. By the age of 22, I had completed two and half years of professional photography; two and a half years dedicated to nothing but learning, experimenting and developing my own style.

This style, my keen enthusiasm and my passion for capturing an image is, I believe, what sets me apart from many other photographers. I finished my studies with a clear understanding that photographing people was my calling. I love being around people, interacting or just observing and capturing those 'moments', whether it be old uncle Bernard and Aunt Doris doing a knees up at a wedding, or styling and creating a lovely, quirky, family portrait.

For over 10 years I have been working freelance, photographing individuals, family portraits and weddings. I have also photographed charitable functions, interior design work and more.

Whilst based in Central London, I carry out photographic assignments both around the UK and across Europe, so if you like my style and you are keen to have some great photographs taken, then please donšt hesitate to either call or email me, so we can discuss exactly what you are looking for. In order to provide you with the opportunity to see my complete portfolio, I am also more than happy to meet up for a coffee and a chat here in London.

I really look forward to hearing from you.
